When I think of the British brand Bronnley England it instantly evokes an image of a beautiful selection of soaps and hand-creams adoring the bathroom of a luxurious five-star hotel. I could also imagine these beautiful products taking pride of place in the many bathrooms of Buckingham palace. After all Bronnley were awarded a royal warrant from King George VI and later HRH Queen Elizabeth II, something that they still retain. Bronnley England was founded in 1884 by an adventurous young Englishman named James Bronnley. James’s passion for fragrance led him to France to study the art of perfumery. The brand is now known worldwide for their luxurious products, innovation and their strong emphasis on natural ingredients creating the purest, most beautiful aromas.
I very kindly received a beautiful package of goodies from their PR team to review. I am a huge fan of anything that contains neroli so I was delighted to receive a bath and shower gel and a body lotion containing the beautiful fresh aromas of lemon and neroli. If you’re looking for an uplifting shower gel to use on a dark winters morning then this will certainly add some much-needed sunshine into your life. I used these two products during the summer months where I was enveloped in a warm and zesty fragrance which lightly scented my skin for the entire day. The scent is definitely not overpowering and contains top notes of Sicilian lemon and mandarin, mid notes of lemon blossom and neroli on a base of precious woods. The addition of shea butter and sweet almond oil make for a wonderful body lotion that sinks in beautifully to the skin. These kind and gentle ingredients make the skin feel soft and nourished. I also loved the simplistic packaging with the bottles being transparent so you can clearly see how much product is left.
I really enjoyed using these beautifully scented products. They didn’t dry out or aggravate my sensitive skin. The only negative for me personally is that they are a bit on the pricey side costing £20/€23 for the set which contains 2 x 250ml bottles. I do however think they would make a lovely treat for yourself or someone else and are available to buy at www.bronnley.co.uk.
