The move is on

Hello everybody 😀. I know I’ve been a bit quiet on the blogging front as of late, apologies for that. Myself and the hubby have nearly our entire lives packed away into brown cardboard boxes for our big move. For those of you who are new to the blog, hello and welcome. We are currently moving back into my parents house to save for a place of our own. We have been renting for the past 8 years and with the market gone as crazy as it is decided the only way to get a place of our own is to move back in with the parentals and save, save, save. It’s an exciting and nerve-racking time but as they say “a change is as good as a rest”.

I’ve also just started my second round of treatment, my first round failed to work (shakes fist). My body is now trying to adapt to the new meds and the mound of daily supplements that I’ve to take. I’m hopefully optimistic that this round of treatment will work and the concoction of supplements won’t do me any harm either. The only downside at the moment is the horrible rashes on my legs, my insanely itchy scalp and an upset tummy. If I’ve to go through all of this to in turn get better than so be it.

So yep there’s a lot of change going on right now. I’m feeling a little stressed and anxious but I will be fine once I’ve settled back into the swing of things. My parents have been a fantastic support and incredibly understanding with regards this whole situation. They have completely done up my bedroom and cleared out the front room for us to use as our own little sitting room. It will be great having them around especially whilst I’m battling through this illness and the much-needed extra support is a blessing.  It will also take some of the pressure off Kevin too.

I have so many new exciting projects in the pipeline for A Paler Shade Of Beauty. I plan to start doing some vlogging on YouTube (eeekk nerve-racking stuff), do monthly ‘Manly Monday’ posts using the hubby as my Guinea pig and also ‘Follow Fridays’ where I share other blogs that I enjoy following and find inspiring. I’ve also a few more tricks up my sleeve but those details will be revealed in due course. I also plan on getting a new website up and running that will be more user-friendly. Exciting times lay ahead and I look forward to sharing them all with. 😘
