Finca Skin Organics

I recently tried out samples of the winter balm and super serum from a new startup organic skincare company called Finca Skin Organics. The samples were small so I can’t give a proper review but I can say on first impression and with the list of ingredients in each product they certainly seem promising.

It’s fantastic to see more and more organic skincare company’s setting up in Ireland. Irish people are really starting to look at what is going on their skin and are standing up against the chemical laden products on the market.

The winter balm (€38.95) is a slightly thicker cream for use during the cold weather. It is a plant oil based cream containing wonderful oils such as green tea, cucumber and raspberry seed. I find during the Winter months I need a heavier cream especially for use on my cheek bones, nose and chin. Don’t ask me why I get dry patches here. I think a mixture of the cold weather outside and warm central heating inside can really play havoc with the skin. This cream promises to help sort out that temperamental winter skin by restoring balance.

The super serum (€29.50) is packed full of rosehip, jojoba, argan, and macadamia oils with added hyaluronic acid to really help plump the skin. It is nicely absorbed into the skin and doesn’t leave an oily residue. I could see this serum and the balm working great in combination with each other. Both products have been formulated for those of us with sensitive skin

For the small amount of product I tried in each sample I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I would love to try out the full-sized versions of these products in order to get a better feel for them. Price point these products are a bit on the expensive side of things so I can’t say if they are worth the spend until I review the full-sized versions.
