This blog is a personal blog written and edited by myself, Avril Mc Donnell. For questions about this blog, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This blog does not accept any form of cash advertising, sponsorship, or paid topic insertions. However, I do accept and keep free products from PR’s, product launches and companies. The majority of products reviewed on the blog have been purchased by myself. If a product is sent to me to try, it will be clearly highlighted in the post. I firmly believe in honesty and full transparency.
I do not receive compensation in any way from this blog.
I am also not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed in this blog are purely my own. If I claim or appear to be an expert on a certain topic, product or area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
I will only review products that I have used myself. I like to give skincare and haircare products a good four weeks of use before I review them. I do not like rushing into reviews as I firmly believe in giving a product a decent chance to work. I am quite a positive person so my reviews may come across in a positive light. I do not believe in bashing a company or product. If something really isn’t for me I will simply not review it. There can be many reasons a product won’t work for an individual. It can be something as simple as incorrect use or it not being suitable for a given skin type.
I strongly advise patch testing any new product before use as everyone’s bodies are different and hence can react differently. I also strongly suggest if you are going through illness or treatment to double-check with your Dr or medical team before use. The last thing I would ever want is to go against your treatment plan. I am aware that some essential oils can interfere with chemotherapy so it’s very important to check with the medical professionals before use.
I really hope you enjoy reading my blog. If anything in the policy changes it will be highlighted and amended accordingly.
